The Devil
Attachment, habit, the easy loop
What it means
The pattern you keep choosing while describing it as something that happens to you. The chains in this card are usually loose.
Today: Name the habit out loud. That is most of it.

Where it sits
The Devil is card XV of the twenty-two Major Arcana, the sequence that runs from The Fool at zero to The World at twenty-one. The majors are read as the larger movements rather than the day-to-day detail.
A prompt, not a prediction. The card meaning
below is the same for everyone who opens this page; it is not personalised and
it is not a reading of your situation. Tarot is a useful way to look at
something sideways. It is not information about the future and nothing here is
advice about your health, your money or any decision that matters.
